What Women Really Want: Sex Toys for Her

Thursday, October 29th, 2009
Angeleena Yi asked:

The selection of an erotic gift for a woman can be a real challenge, especially when this woman is indeed special in your life. Everyone knows that tastes differ, and what is good for one woman can be a disaster for another. However, there is a certain category of gifts that can bring pleasure to almost every girl or woman, even if she doesn't show her great excitement on the first sight of this gift. I'm talking about Sex Toys. I doubt that any woman at least once in her life didn't want to have and to use a sex toy. There's a certain category of women that rave about sex toys again and again. Maybe your woman is one of them?

Choosing the right vibrator for her will always be about personal preferences. However, you can ask yourself some questions before the final purchase and see if your gift will be used frequently or collect dust in your lady's drawer. So, here are the questions:

1. How would you like to use the sex toy: external stimulation, penetration, or both?

2. What is the material for the gift: glass, silicone, rubber, etc. Bare in mind your girl's preferences as to the safety concerns.

3. How hard e.g. vibrator should be: super hard, mild, soft, or super soft.

4. What is your budget on the sex toy gift? Your choice will highly depend on the price of a sex toy.

Among others, I would recommend you a special sex toy gift - Rotating Rabbit Vibrator. Click here to view the demonstration of this vibe

A First Time Sex Toy User

Sunday, October 25th, 2009
Jerry Leung asked:

There are people who are reluctant to use sex toys. In fact, if your partner is one of such people, it will be quite difficult to introduce a toy in your sex life. However, there are some kind of toys that you may try since they are proved to be less embarrassing.

Sex board games

Indeed a sex board game is not really a toy. However, it is a kind of game like the game Monopoly. You will play it while you are "playing" in the bed room. The simplest kind of such game is a sex dice. There are different actions on the six face of the dice and you will need to do what the dice describes when you throw it. Of there are also some game which are more sophisticated. This will certainly help to spicy the bedroom.

Vibrators

When you are choosing a vibrator, you should try to choose a small one if your partner does not have any experience on it before. Of course in most cases you will use it to simulate the genital of your partner. However, if it is the first time for you or your partner to use a vibrator. You may try to use it to stimulate other parts of the body. For example, it can be used to stimulate the nipples and both men and women love the feeling of being stimulated.

Costumes

This will be usually used for role playing. In fact, if you or your partner does not really like the idea of costumes. You may try some sexy lingerie. As a matter of fact, there are sexy clothes for men as well. If both of you feel alright with costumes, you may even start your fantasy in role playing.

There are various options when role playing is concerned. You can act as a policeman / policewoman while your partner can act as a robber. The idea of doctor and patient or doctor and nurse is also very popular. Particularly, the role playing about pirates can help to introduce some simple and light BDSM equipments in your sex life.

Massage oil

Again, this is not really a sex toy. But most people will love the feeling of being massaged with massage oil. It can really make your partner relaxed. You can start using a small vibrator to stimulate his / her body when he / she feel relaxed. Your partner will certainly love it!

The World of Sex Toys for Women

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009
Phoenix Delray asked:

In the world today, sex toys for women are everywhere. They are in your local retail store, every adult novelty shop you can imagine, and they are even featured prominently in magazines, television shows and movies. There is such a large variety of sex toys for women on the market that come in so many varying shapes, sizes and even colors. While sometimes it may seem intimidating and overwhelming to think about going into a sex shop and looking around, but it does not have to be that bad. If you take the time to educate yourself on different products and what specifically you are looking for, then you will be much more comfortable and be able to enjoy the experience rather than be scared by it.

One of the most common types of sex toys for women is vibrators. Vibrators are great because they are designed for every type of woman and for many different reasons. Most of them are equipped with some type of battery operated motor that vibrates and creates and extra stimulation depending on how and at what speed you move it. Vibrators are very versatile because they come in so many different shapes, sizes and colors so anyone can find one that they like. Many sex toys for women only come in one make and model which is what makes female vibrators so unique. Many vibrators that you will come across are designed with extra attachments on them with different types of clitoral stimulators. Some of the most advanced types of sex toys for women have different speeds you can set the vibration to and some of them even make circular motions too. There are also other types of sex toys for women that are known as dildos; they are very similar to vibrators. The difference is that dildos are only designed for penetration meaning that they only move when you move them yourself. However, there are many similarities because like vibrators, dildos come in many different colors, shapes and sizes to fit the needs of any woman.

There is also an entire classification of sex toys for women that are referred to as anal sex toys. Anal toys are great for anyone who is thinking about engaging in anal sex because it really helps to loosen up the area. Anal toys are a type of sex toy that should definitely be paired up with some kind of sex lube because the anus is an area that does not self lubricate. Whichever sex toy for women you decide on, it is just about personal preference. So, most importantly, explore and have fun with it.

Sex, Sex Toys and Historical Facts

Sunday, October 18th, 2009
Suie Roberts asked:

However attitudes did start to change as ideas changed. Charles Darwin shook Christianity with his theory of evolution. He cut God out of the equation claiming that humans derived from apes. Evolving through phases - we later discovered these as fossils. (Homo Habilis being particularly interesting being the tool maker! how appropriate?) Therefore Darwin stated that we were indeed not children of God but animals, although on an intelligent scale but still with innate animal characteristics.

Soon after Sigmund Freud's out-burst of sexually orientated child development theory leaned on the view that we were in fact animals motivated by three innate basic life preservation instincts - food, warmth and the need to reproduce.

These theories had well to do Victorian middle class men engaged in hunting, shooting and fishing as they went back to their caveman roots.

Similarly these men were going from cave to cave impregnating any willing female (despite wide spread deterrents against anything other than marital sex for reproducing - i.e. - masturbation allegedly causing blindness, insanity, heart disease amongst other ailments; and oral sex causing cancer) - Thus prostitution was rife. Which may have been contributed to by Darwin and Freud's theories which tend to excuse us from such behaviours. Although having a mistress or using the services of a loose woman (so called due to the slack lacing up of her corset to save time whilst working) it may also have been tolerated due to the old double standards - those activities are acceptable for men and not for women.

Only a couple of decades later in post war Britain during the 20's, sexual liberation was emerging, paving the way for the liberated 60's. A time of hippies, youth culture, women's independence, drugs, free love and the contraceptive pill - enabling women too have pre-marital sex; sexually experiment and explore and to enjoy sex without the fear of unwanted pregnancy.

Since then despite the threat of AIDS, sexual liberation is still evolving in the way of previously hidden sexual practices becoming more accepted and public - i.e. - swinging, wife swapping, transvestism and sadomasochism. Society's changing attitudes and acceptance of these activities is portrayed in the media.

Sex liberation and evolving ideas within this sphere has also made sex toys less of a taboo, this is illustrated with the appearance of sex shops arriving on the High Street - i.e. - Anne Summers. And yet the contents of these shops are not such a new innovation.

The Kama Sutra for example has been around for hundreds of years. Written between 100 and 400 AD for the nobility of India. Contrary to popular belief it contains more than just unusual sex positions, but additionally includes mood setting, sensual touch, embrace, kissing, foreplay and afterplay (well worth a read by those wham bam types!) Therefore the Kama Sutra indicates the importance that the people who used it placed on good lovemaking.

The Kama Sutra also encompasses the use of sensual smelling oils, aromas, bathing products and massage implements and techniques which very often are available in sex shops.

The ancient Greeks claim the rights to the first recorded reference to the 'dildo', which at that time went under the name of olisbos. Trading merchants are said to have sold these crude; wood, stone or leather hand crafted objects to single and lonely women, who used olive oil as a lubricant. On their journey west, the olisbos was renamed, and it is commonly believed that dildo derives for the Italian word diletto, to delight. Back home, rubber dildos were introduced around 1850, to delight the English.

Also during the Victorian era, vibrations were causing ripples and the development of the vibrator.

At this time female hysteria was treated with a vibrating device on the females genitalia. Treatment was completed after the point of paroxysm - orgasm.

Its thought that during this period of time that women were not seen as sexual creatures, but maybe someone saw the treatment for hysteria and thought otherwise, because in the late 19th century, when electric was becoming more wide spread vibrators began appearing. Although, only to doctors primarily for the treatment of patients. However, In 1918 vibrators were being advertised in magazines, still masquerading as health therapy for hysterical women. Yet in 1921, the magazine advertisements were suggesting that husbands should buy a 'massager' for their wife to keep her healthy young and beautiful. This shows a change in direction for the usage of the vibrator in that, its not just a healing aid but an ideal gift, and bringing the husband into the picture may give off notions that it is for pleasure together as a couple.

But during the 1920s, early blue movies showed women using the devices not for their camouflaged purpose but for sexual stimulation. Early pornography stripped vibrators of their social camouflage, and by 1930, they were no longer openly advertised.

Although the swinging sixties helped in the recovery of the vibrating device, and since then changing social attitudes towards vibrator has evoked a large demanding market, not only for vibrators but other sex toys. A wide variety of toys and tools can easily be found and obtained, especially with the introduction of the Internet.

Thank God for evolution, both human evolution and the sex toy kind! And God blesses vibrators everywhere; where ever you are!

Wy You Should Use Adult Products And Adult Sex Toys

Sunday, October 11th, 2009
Eddie Yakubovich asked:

I know you are interested, other wise you would not be reading this article. And, as the famous doctor, who will remain unnamed always says "that's ok". It is no longer dirty, and believe it or not most adults do not find it disgusting or taboo discovering new and exciting ways to improve your sex life with adult sex toys.

Do not over look the fantastic health benefits, one gains from an active and vibrant sex life. Stress is the biggest negative health factor most of us have to deal with, and there is no better way to reduce your stress levels that by having a great orgasm, or two, or three. Well you see what I mean, we are only held back by our own foolish inhibitions.

I am not here to argue that adult products and toys are essential for good sex. Holding hands, cuddling or enjoying a romantic candlelight dinner can be just as arousing and stimulating, however sex toys can create a more erotic and adventurous experience. Adults like using sex toys for sex play as a way to discover and explore intimacy and well as techniques and fantasies that would be impossible to accomplish as a monogamous couple.

Adult products used to enhance your sexual experience can range through a wide variety of items from costumes and accessories for role play, to appliances like dildos and the famous anal vibrator. It is healthy to fantasize about your sexual experiences. Just because you have a sex fantasy, does not mean you are or will be unfaithful to your partner. To the contrary, this is perhaps the strongest way to prevent infidelity. With the assistance of adult sex toys and adult products you or your partner can become another person or persons, depending on what your fantasies are. All without leaving the safety and privacy of your own bedroom, or kitchen again depending on your personal fantasy.

Without a doubt the best part of incorporating adult products, adult sex toys, fantasy costumes or anal vibrators is that you and your partner are in total control of the experience. You can make it as active, or as mild, as tame or as raunchy as you like. And no one else has to know.

There are many good and valid reasons to start using adult sex toys and adult products, many more than than would be against using them. They can help restore that sensuous spontaneity and increase the intimacy to an otherwise stall relationship. If you don't think your partner is giving you enough attention, serve them the next meal wearing a French maid costume and a pair of crotch less panties. If you do not get to the full level of sexual pleasure that you would like to, next time show your partner how to take you to exactly where you want, no I say need to be taken to achieve the level of please you desire. Drop your inhibitions and get off on one another, get each other off and get yourself off.
